Drop Resistance Test
KARMA wheelchairs are drop tested 6,666 times to ensure it’s quality and durability. This ensures that users can use the chair for many years to come.
Rough Road Test
In this case, KARMA literally goes the extra mile by driving our wheelchairs 157 KM to simulate the conditions of driving the chair on actual roads. This tests the battery fixtures, suspension, and user comfort.
Real Life User Test
KARMA finds real wheelchair users to test the wheelchairs and give us their feedback before they hit the shelves.
Two Drum Test
Wheelchairs are pushed to the limit to find out if they can really hack the distances and durability that we promise! KARMA chairs must pass a two-drumroll fatigue test of 200,000 rolls.
Gyro
The gyro ensures that when the user is driving over rough terrain or at high speed, the wheelchair will still travel in the direction that the joystick is pointing.
Suspension
The wheel suspension ensures that the user will have a comfortable ride and any jolts or shocks will be absorbed by the suspension and not the user.
Pelvic Belt
It will prevent the user from sliding out of the chair and keep the user in the correct sitting position. If the user has to constantly adjust their sitting position, they risk suffering from pressure ulcers and shear force.
Headrest
Users who often travel with their wheelchair on public transport, having the right headrest is imperative! In the event of an accident, the headrest will provide support for the user’s head and neck, which is why it is important to choose a crash test approved wheelchair.
